Why whole home

Filter once, at the source

Point-of-use filters clean the water at a single tap. A whole home system treats it before it reaches anything — so the shower, the washing machine, the hot water service and the garden tap all get the same water the kitchen does.

Treating at entry also protects the plumbing itself. Sediment is captured before it settles in tapware, and mineral scale is managed before it bakes onto heating elements. Over a decade of ownership, that is usually where the system pays for itself.

  • Chlorine and disinfection by-products reduced at every outlet
  • Sediment captured before it reaches tapware and appliances
  • Hardness and scale managed through the whole house
  • One service schedule instead of a filter under every sink
Built for the job

Designed around your home, not a catalogue

Five things we get right before a system is ever quoted.

Designed for Australian water

Chlorinated scheme supply, hard bore water, sediment-heavy tank water — media and staging are selected against your actual test results, not a national average.

Sized to your household

A two-person townhouse and a six-person home with a pool have very different demands. Sizing accounts for peak flow, daily volume and how your household is likely to change.

Performance without pressure loss

Filtration and flow rate are balanced during specification. Correctly sized and correctly serviced, most homeowners notice no practical change in pressure.

One system, every tap

Kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, hot water service and outdoor taps all run through the same treatment. Nothing is left unfiltered by accident.

Built to last outdoors

UV-stable housings, food-grade and BPA-free wetted components, WaterMark certified and manufactured in ISO 9001 facilities.

Upgradeable later

Add an advanced filtration stage at the kitchen sink, or expand capacity if the household grows, without replacing what is already installed.

How it works

A typical multi-stage configuration

Stage count and media change with your water profile. This is the shape most homes end up with.

Entry-point sediment filtration

Multi-layer melt-blown cartridges capture silt, rust and particulate down to 1 micron, protecting both your plumbing and the filtration stages behind them.

Conditioning & softening

Softening resin or scale-inhibiting media manages calcium and magnesium so limescale stops forming on elements, tapware and glass.

Chemical & metals reduction

Activated carbon blended with KDF media reduces chlorine, chloramine, disinfection by-products, pesticides and heavy metals such as lead and copper.

What comes out the other side

Water that no longer smells of chlorine, does not leave a film on glassware, rinses soap away cleanly and stops turning your kettle white.

  • Down to 1 micron — finer than the common 5 micron standard
  • NSF-certified filtration media throughout
  • Bypass valve fitted so servicing never means shutting off the house

Sizing

A configuration for every size of home

We build the whole home range across several capacities. Which one suits you is settled at the assessment — sized to your flow rate, your water test and your household, never guessed from a brochure.

Apartments & smaller homes

One to three occupants, single bathroom, lower peak demand. Compact footprint where plant space is tight.

Family homes

Three to five occupants, multiple bathrooms and simultaneous demand across laundry, kitchen and showers.

Large & rural properties

High occupancy, bore or tank supply, irrigation and pools. Higher capacity staging with heavier sediment handling.

Beyond drinking

Filtered water, everywhere it matters

Most people think about drinking water first, but the average household drinks a tiny fraction of what it uses. The rest goes through showers, baths, the laundry and every appliance plumbed into the wall.

  • Showers and baths — chlorine off the skin and out of the steam.
  • Laundry — softer water means less detergent and brighter fabrics.
  • Kitchen — cleaner tasting cooking water, tea and coffee.
  • Appliances — less scale on elements, seals and heat exchangers.
Reviews

Whole home owners, in their words

“The chlorine smell is completely gone. Tea and coffee taste different, and the shower feels noticeably softer on the kids' skin.”

Karen M.Point Cook, VIC

“We were sceptical about pressure loss. Six months on and we honestly cannot tell the difference — except the water is clear.”

Daniel R.Kellyville, NSW

“Our kettle used to scale up every few weeks. It has been months and the element is still clean.”

Questions

Whole home filtration FAQs

What exactly is a whole home filtration system?

A treatment system plumbed in where mains or tank water enters your property. Everything downstream of it — every tap, shower, appliance and outlet — receives filtered water, rather than filtering at one point of use.

Where is it installed?

Usually outdoors near the water meter or the point of entry, on a small concrete pad or bracket. Where space or climate makes that impractical, it can be housed in a garage or plant area. Our installer confirms the position at the assessment.

Will it reduce my water pressure?

Not when it is sized properly. Flow rate is matched to your peak demand during specification. Pressure complaints almost always trace back to an undersized system or cartridges well past their replacement date.

How often do the cartridges need changing?

Between 6 and 12 months for most homes, depending on sediment load and household usage. We send a reminder ahead of time and can either ship the cartridges to you or send a technician to do the change-out.

Does it soften the water as well as filter it?

Where your test shows hardness worth addressing, yes — a softening or scale-inhibiting stage is included in the configuration. Where hardness is low, we leave it out rather than sell you a stage you do not need.

What happens if it needs servicing?

A bypass valve is fitted at installation, so the system can be isolated without cutting water to the house. Service is booked online or by phone, and technicians operate in all mainland states and Tasmania.
